“1. Its one of the very good Suriname restaurants I've been to in Rotterdam. I tried a lot of dishes here over the course of a year and everything is very consistently delicious! 2. If you are not very hungry and if you're alone, I would recommend their sandwiches. Their €20 main course might be a little too much for 1 person. 3. Their mock meat is probably one of the best I've tried. Its crispy, dense and very flavorful. 4. I would recommend their salt and pepper Vega kip, Singaporean noodle dish, and really any of their sandwiches. The side of chilli paste gives it a really nice kick! 5. This is a very busy place. Sometimes it can be a little noisy. The decor is very moderate. Nothing fancy but it 100% works. 6. If you are a light to moderate eater, I would say one main dish would be enough for 2 people. 7. I mostly order online but eating here is obviously better. Overall a very good consistent restaurant. Couple of times a month is early doable. I would recommend it for anyone who feels like eating Suriname cuisine.”

“LOTS of veggie/pescatarian options. I recommend the vegan fried duck fillet, literally anything with black pepper sauce but especially the lion’s mane (incredible texture), and mushrooms with veggies and cashews. They serve rice with every main dish and you can have fried rice for a couple of more euros. I also love their ginger beer but it’s a bit intense, so I only recommend it for the real ginger lovers”
