“Something good and tasty? It's definitely New King. The restaurant is located in the city center, in Chinatown. The food is fantastic. The place has a charming atmosphere. The wait for food was about 20 minutes, but we expected it to be long because the restaurant was full, but it went quickly. The only downside was that the appetizer was served last. I recommend it. Delicious.”

The pork wonton with Chinese noodles is 10/10!! So is the mixed meat crispy duck, pork, and bbq beef. Everything was flavorful and comforting.”

“This is probably one of the best Chinese restaurants in Amsterdam from what I can look up online. I decided to visit for dinner and while there was a little queueing, the wait was no too long. I ordered the fried rice with roasted duck, siew yoke and soy chicken. The fried rice was not the typical Chinese Yang Zhou style but more similar to nasi goreng popular in Southeast Asian countries. Nonetheless the flavors were good and the "wok hey" was present. What helped to catapult the fried rice was their chilli oil flakes which delivered a spicy aromatic punch. The roasted duck was just okay in my opinion but their siew yoke and soy chicken both turned out to be the highlights. I liked the thick chunks of siew yoke with crispy skin and I enjoyed the savory soy chicken. Overall a comforting dish when I needed to satisfy my Chinese food cravings.”
